I have to support my fellow veteran. This is government over-reach. A smoking ban would be fine, but not a walking ban. The bureaucrats always look for easy blanket solutions, like the 2m rules and one-way trails during pandemic knockdowns that seem ludicrous today when people can gather in any configuration without air filtration or masking in place.

The helicopter it seems was flying at the wrong altitude. With two sets of eyeballs the helo pilots should have been able to clearly see the plane. The helo was much more maneuverable and should have been able to break away quickly

I really dislike stationary bike riding, so I do not do it, but I have done 24K miles on the bike in the last 8 years. All on roads :) And we get snow and ice here.
I'm sure your total mileage is more than mine, and at age 65, I take what I can get.

My grandfather was in the Reichswehr (look it up). He served 9 years & then served in the German postal service. Hitler took power in 1933. My grandfather refused to join the Nazi party & would not get a ration card for his family. They went hungry but he fished for eel. There was never a photo of Hitler in the home, against regulations. I am seeing the same situation my grandfather did.
Grandfather died in 1958 saying that all Germans should wear black because of the shame of WWII. It repeats

I was invited to speak (paid) at a conference in London last year. I replied that it made little sense for me to cross the Atlantic and speak for one hour. They did not accept a virtual presentation. I did not travel to this conference and have not traveled for speaking gigs since 2019. It does not make sense
