minors shouldn't be using the internet at all. they are the fodder for all censorship so if they didn't exist online the powers that be couldnt argue "think of the children".
women on the other hand are children so it gets hard to advocate that women should not use the internet either, even though that would be ideal.

but if it is someone old enough to remember the old internet then I'd argue you're at least 30 and thus out of the age range of forgiveness

women are going to be seen in the eyes of the law as a legal liability if she walks free, this is a huge precedent that can be set.
it may be able to flip things over back to normal overnight legally.

this is a net gain in the long run because it will demonstrate just how bad things are to a very non trivially large number of people.

i mean that is exactly what is going on, allowing ccp's psyop app telling women they should kill their children is a strange hill to die on if you ask me.

2026-07-20 21:41:13 UTC

I would argue it is metadata about the name not a part of the name itself, in theory this would allow you to have multi root DNS, e.g. useful for domains inside russia vs outside russia

2026-07-20 21:38:27 UTC

- reply

not in the name itself, a side label, ala "ICANN mk.magicka.org"

2026-07-20 21:34:25 UTC

why not explicitly label which namespace root each name belongs to, e.g. ICANN, YGG, ALT-DNS-X, NAMECOIN, etc

2026-07-20 21:27:29 UTC

why restrict the gtld? if someone says they can get you to some place on the .ligmaballs gtld let them

one thing that has been proven by the consumer gaming industry is that if you don't respect your customer the customer has no reason to respect the company producing the deliverable.
"the customer is always right in manners of taste" needs to be codified into law at this point. punishable by capital punishment.
