I cannot stop Israel by myself.
I think we need to vote better to have a gouvernment that does better.

i'm against Genocide.
And i don't like the tagging and dm ing ( i get a lot). I'm chronically ill and it exhausts me.
I'm really sorry when people get suspended and i don't want a page full of "spam" like messages either.
I support gaza verivied by sharing it's page frequently so everbody gets a chance.
And i support one individual when i can.
I either quit as a whole or i limit some peoples acces to me.
I would rather not quit.

The bombings by Israel and the US have caused panic among the people in Gaza.
They feared that Israel would close the borders and stop food supplies again.
That is what happened yesterday.
Israel claims that enough food has been brought in, without providing any evidence.
People panicked and bought up what they could find in the markets and prices went up.
People are afraid of starvation in an already dire situation.

Ik blijf het maar herhalen in de hoop dat het meer mensen bereikt die bereid zijn om te helpen.
Gaza verivied is een pagina waarbij mensen in of van Gaza die hulp nodig hebben hun fundraiser kunnen plaatsen.
Het is koud, velen hebben geen huis meer en moeten leven in een tent. Er wordt gebombardeerd, hulp wordt nog steeds afgeknepen, ziektes verspreiden zich, velen hebben geen werk en of inkomen en ze kunnen niet weg.

Right now the trapped Palistinians in Gaza who are living in tents have (next to being starved and still subjected to the violence and death by Israël) been subjected to harsh rain, cold en flooding (with little or no food)

no i'm not hurt.
I agree with what you wrote.
And i had an add on. 😉
I had more but it didn't fit the message space.
I'm trying to understand my own feelings and reaction when (for instance) people randomly ask me directly for something they need (with no connection).
This is a theme for me as a giver.
I have been taken advantage of.
My bad.
So when this gets triggered i lash out sometimes.
Not because of them but because i feel this hurt.
How i respond to this is on me.

I can relate to some of what you are writing.
But not i think the refusal has more layers.
One possible layer to add.
For example.
I do not have a lot of money sick myself and isolated.
I think.. help others.
When confronted with multiple request, directly asked it makes me feel like i have to say no knowing i'm letting someone in dire need down.
That feels awfull and overwelming.
Some people try to avoid this feeling.
Hence some of the reactions that you see.

I could already see some people who were staying behind on fundraising.
I do have a tip.
Some of the people who have stayed behind on the fundraising did not put their frundraiser link on their gaza verivied page.
Only on their mastodon page.
It might be that they are missing people who do want to donate but who are not on mastodon.
