I was coding on a plane today with no internet and I managed to redirect a process's stderr to a file.
It only took about 10min of randomly trying to add >?&12 characters after my command, but I got it to work in the end.
Where do I claim my prize? 🏆

I got as far as https://github.com/cli/cli/blob/trunk/pkg/cmd/pr/checks/checks.go#L261-L266 before I gave up. Seems like the gh tool uses the graphQL API and not the REST one like I'm using. That's annoying.

Any #Github #API expperts out there? I'm trying to fetch the statuses of the checks on a given PR but I'm struggling.
For example for this PR:https://github.com/django/django/pull/18780 I want to get an equivalent of the line " 1 failing, 6 skipped, and 38 successful checks ".
I've tried both `/repos/django/django/commits/<ref>/status` and `/repos/django/django/statuses/<ref>` but they give different results from each other, and they don't match what is displayed on the PR itself 🤔

I think the #Django documentation should stop referring to code contributions as "patches" and use "pull requests" instead.
So I've opened a ticket, and I'm submitting my contribution ... as a patch of course 🙃

I find myself having to fix about ~6months of data after a bug was discovered that was inserting bad data.
I'm hesitating between writing the data fix as a migration, or just running a command/script in a shell on the production server.
Who's got opinions ™️ on what the best option is?

by "install" you mean "add it to settings.INSTALLED_APPS"?
If so then as far as I know that's not supported. Might be possible with some serious hacking but I'm not sure I'd recommend that. The way it's usually done is by checking at load time (an Appconfig.ready() is a good place for that) and raise an InproperlyConfigured telling the user to change their settings.
