Damascus is 5000 years old, the city with the longest continuous human population. And Israel is bombing its historical city. This is just more wanton destruction, totally without military purpose. They do want to erase the past.
I felt such a connection to humanity's past when I visited it. Everyone does, inevitably. Damascus is the entire humanity's inheritance. And Israel wants to destroy it.

There's no valid excuse for voting either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump. There are, on the contrary numerous extremely good reasons not to do it. Anyone giving them any kind of support makes me sick to my stomach.

One thing is their revolting support for the Palestinian genocide, but their domestic policies are actually almost equal to that. The genocide should be a red line in the sand, but the horrible US society they help maintaining is extremely bad as well, starving people to death, making them freeze to death, making them die of preventable diseases in a cold, brutal, uncaring society.
