Interesting you should ask about my latest project. I've released about 300 tracks since 2021, so I think I'm due for a compilation album, if only to close off that era.
As for new projects, I'm getting more interested in sonic textures, so probably more along the lines of my latest track, 'Impulsion'. Gritty, dreamlike, somewhat inscrutable. :)

@nprofile…nekg Yep. YT was one of the last things for me to sever. In the end, it wasn't as painful as I thought. Most of the stuff that's interesting to me is on archive.org anyway. And if I do need to go to YT, I just watch the vid within DuckDuckGo viewer, which strips out ads (and doesn't give the creeps any more info about me).

I'd like to see it happen, but our own internal political realities probably mean it won't.

@nprofile…0nz2 @nprofile…s37t Excellent! Sounds really nice. Ubuntu Studio is great for music producers. Right now I'm running it under Kubuntu on an 8 yr old ASUS ROG gaming laptop. It's noisy as fuck, but otherwise sleek.
And, yes, coming from KDE 3.x, Plasma 6.4 is a dream. I wish I could run it on Wayland, but my laptop has a dedicated Nvidia card that kinda barfs on Wayland (the usual wake-from-suspend weirdness that I've had to deal with since time immemorial with most laptops on Linux.

@nprofile…0nz2 Yup! It's using the internal synthesis...which actually sound very good. It's kinda like yhe #Hydrasynth in that you need to know a bit about sound design to tweak the best out of it.
It's very immediate and performance friendly.
