I think they're definitely more impressive than I gave them credit for. That said, I am extremely reluctant to participate in *further* personal de-skilling. That said, there are definitely some applications of LLMs/RL that seem exciting - in general, cases where I could observe some "completely obvious" thing that is a real PITA to write up as code feel like a great application for AI.

I've been thinking about that. Can you provide more details about the LLM-based search? I've been daydreaming about extending to currently-infeasible program sizes with LLMs or RL or what have you.
