I've seen lots of Chinese, Israeli, and Russian accounts on Fedi talk about how exhausting it is for them to comment on international politics, because they're constantly met with replies that are like “Well, what about what your own country's doing, China/Israel/Russia's the worst”, and how they can't possibly be expected to condemn their own government's actions every time they want to chime in on geopolitical discourse

I tried reaching out via a comment on one of your PeerTube videos but didn't get a response. I have pledged to what I believed was your Patreon campaign with the hope of messaging you there, but I'm not 100% sure that's your page, given I couldn't find any mentions of your PeerTube channel on it.
I wanted to ask if you could please spare a moment of your time to discuss where you saw videos of me exposing my breasts “without warning”. This behavior, which I cannot seem to replicate on the Spectra Video server you reported it from, worries me as I take great care to mark such videos as sensitive, meaning a “Mature or explicit content” warning should pop up upon load.
As someone who has contributed code to the PeerTube project and believes in Framasoft's cause, it is very concerning to hear your description of what seems to be a serious bug that poses legal ramifications. I do not have much money, but I am open to compensating you for an hour of your time at your regular rate to resolve this as soon as possible.

I have a need to tell privileged old men living in primarily white communities to shut the fuck up about how I should feel about the cop that sent my friends and family to jail on enhanced charges just to generate better security theater and drive up her own ratings.
I get the urge to see Kamala Harris as someone she's not-- I even get how easy that is for someone who didn't have to endure her policies.
But listen to victims when they tell you they're hurting. You did it once in the '90s.
I survived Harris with my life, freedom, and voting rights intact. Many didn't.
And in case you still haven't read it, I'm voting Harris, in spite of everything I've said, because those are the stakes.
To equivocate legitimate criticism as whining and shut down critical discussion about a candidate's divisive history just feels undemocratic.
