As winter is finally coming to a close, I have enough natural sunlight to comfortably read printed documents while I program instead of a second screen!!!

When i started writing #uxn I always thought only having 4 colours was going to be a serious limitation, but with a careful colour palette and some creativity I have always been just fine with only 4 colours.
Here is the celeste spritesheet in uxn form ^__^ (There is no easy way to extract assets from a Pico-8 game so I had to redraw them all)

Day 7 and final day for #DecemberAdventure
The past 2 days have been hectic, my VPS received: "unplanned-planned maintenance by a third party" (nicest way to say someone from my past SSHed into my server and deleted the bootloader and some files for my VPS), but everything has been 100% restored and were back! ( including a full private key rotation )
Back to the brighter side: I started working on a Celeste(Pico-8) Demake for UXN, Writing a nice feeling character controller for a platformer is so much harder then I remembered it being. I just hope I don't loss motivation like the rest of my projects in a ~week

After ~5 of Being a student teacher shadowing others I've been asking myself the same question in the back of my head: Is python and scratch really the best options we have for teaching kids logic and programming?
Why not (S (Expressions)), why not concatinative programming, why not a simple rewriting system? I feel like the method we have made for teaching kids CompSCI is fundamentally flawed as we are trying to teach kids programming and not logic that its built apon

The more and more I read about John Conway I realize how much a goddamn genius that man was: Fractran, GoL, The doomsday rule, Function of Base 13. They are all closer to a piece of art then to math in my eyes
Apparently when I was 2 or 3 I actually did meet him via my dad... I should try to find the old film negative of that photo

I wish there Linux Distro that had first-class support for transfering packages over USB offline in a sneaker-net style way. Would be so useful to move packages between computers when there is no internet/power
(closest thing I've found is Debian, but it's not perfect)

I just had the strangest dream....
I was in a infinite repeating labyrinth full of books from floor to ceiling. All the spines and book covers were in English. I picked one up called "what will your loved ones think of you once your dead chloe"..... The entire book was in somehow written in Proto-Indo-European, written using Cyrillic??? And all numbers were Roman numerals????
