Based on optics alone (emotion, appearance, clarity, humor), #DonaldTrump won this debate. Yes, #Trump spewed mostly lies, but most voters in #America 🇺🇸 do not actively fact check their politicians.
But based on substance & fact, #JoeBiden won the debate. #Biden however mumbled & stumbled many of his statements & appeared weak.

A little over a decade ago, Firefox was extremely popular in schools, & the primary alternative to Internet Explore in the corporate world. Now, both are dominated by Chrome (I am not sure what the stats are, but they have to be approaching 90%).

It also does not help that 86% of Firefox’s revenue comes from Google.

From my anecdotal observations, most users on #Mastodon & #Threads seem excited about the future ability to interact with each other thanks to #ActivityPub, as people have family, colleagues, etcetera, preferring to use either platform.
What is also interesting is a vocal minority on Mastodon & Threads are paranoid about the other, & consider the opposing platform to be an unmoderated cesspool full of mean folks (I am paraphrasing here).
The next few months will probably be interesting. 😅
