it sounds like somehow your project was swapped to prefer ESM—this is not necessary with Eleventy 3.0!
Is there a type: module in your package.json? If so, I’d remove that and try again!

hmm! This will require some careful consideration. Could do just simple integers there but we wouldn’t want to support things like width="100,200" which does work in `eleventy:widths`

a few corrections: we have an official feed plugin (though currently poorly named): https://www.11ty.dev/docs/plugins/rss/
I suppose I don’t think sitemaps are complex enough to warrant a plugin: it’s easily solved by collections and a template. But I’m happy to add one if folks want it.
