Worryingly, I've had the Pi-Hole docker container setup for less than 24 hours and already 450 blocked requests. This is only with the basic list supplied.

I wonder if this works on bazzite 🤔. Can't see why it wouldn't as its fedora based, albeit atomic . I wish there was an official Flatpak version and of course an android version would be amazing too.

I built my first AMD gaming PC on Thursday and tested Bazzite OS. I'm seriously impressed. Firstly I'm surprised I managed to build it without any previous experience , but also Bazzite is amazing as an OS.
Easy to install and I've had to do only minimal tinkering to get things working.
I also really like the documentation, everything I needed to find solutions for was available in the docs.
Well done Bazzite team.

I've been using assist almost since it began , I don't sadly have a preview edition , just a conference speaker.
I think the question is "what is the weather ?"
You can of course add custom sentences which is what I did and custom responses , so if you asked "how's the weather" the response could be "the weather is ..... and the temperature is ...."

I trialled Alpine for a few months but now I have settled on Void Linux.
I had several problems on Alpine that void fixed out of them box.
Its the Void Linux Musl version .

I've been trialling FreeBSD this week , trying to get the graphics drivers to work on an old Think pad T540p.
Not having much luck so I will trial GhostBSD tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works better than today.

Would be great to see more amazing content creators on the pPeertube platform. Although I understand its not always easy to create content for multiple platform.

ah thought so, its a shame , most of the services I run natively are covered by the AIO container. I was considering switching but behind a VPN I can't see the point in a let's encrypt cert and an open port 80

ah I see , that makes sense, I was thinking more along the line of coding for applications or useful scripts to help others. I didn't think of things like sys admins and ansible etc.

I'm really surprised more people are not using Codeberg for there Git repo.
I am not really a coder and only recently started using Codeberg pages to host my static blog site.
But even I found it easy to use Codeberg, I even became an active financial member so I can support the project.
Why didn't more project look for alternatives when Microsoft bought Github ?

Is anyone running running the Next cloud All in One container behind a wire guard VPN?
I have Nextcloud install natively on a Debian server behind a Wireguard VPN but a lot of the services I host on this machine this way, are covered by the all in one container.
Only issue AIO container requires a let's encrypt cert even for local use with at minimum port 80 and of course the wireguard port open on the router.
Also currently php on the Debian server is out of date for some of Nextcloud apps

Just trying Zen Browser, I got to say I'm surprised I really like it. It takes a few minutes to get used to it, but overall, I'm impressed! Well done to the team for creating something different.
I only wish that they had an Android app, although I understand it wouldn't scale well to a mobile experience. I really hate the mobile options for browsers.
Anyway, Check out Zen and see if it works for you.

I have a quick question , do you think the project could setup a discourse forum in place and/or as well as IRC as a source of help ? A lot of distros rely on the community helping each other with small issues via forums instead of the project developer having to.

why Hugo ? Could it be another SSG ? I've been looking into @npub1f8f…ed9x to Start my static site journey and it has lots of great themes , not sure it has more than Hugo though, its early days for my site so it may not be suitable for your use case.

Great first release of the year, backups have been on my to list for a while 😳. Do you think Nabu Casa may consider a 'backup only' subscription in the future?
Personally I use a self hosted Wireguard VPN to access my Home Assistant and all my Voice assistant stuff is local. However off site backup is something I would seriously consider.

I think the android browser scene is a bit barebones compared to desktop options, be great if Librewolf had an android option. I've also trialled monocles and pivacy browser , but always fell back to Firefox or Fennec

I'm interested to change my default Firefox browser for another of its forks which one do you use?
Currently I use Firefox with extensions like unlock origin etc on my laptop and fennec on my GrapheneOS phone. But I would be open to suggestions for android as well.

I have been using your VPN for almost a year now. It's been amazing!!
I currently I have it running through the Mullvad client on my Debian machine and through the Wireguard client on my latest Alpine Linux install.
Do you think you might support APK packages ? I know your a small team, so It might not be an option.

I installed Alpine Linux today on a spare laptop , it took all of 30 minutes and installed without a single issue. I always thought, Alpine was more for containers and servers , but with plasma installed as the DE, it works beautifully as a Desktop.
I've always been intrigued by Alpine Linux and now Openwrt has started using Alpine's package manager , maybe I'll trial it for longer and see how it goes.

I'm really intrigued about Friendica, I'm wondering whether I should give it a go. Probably like a lot of people I get put off that it has only has a small number of users. But then I think, with thinking like that it will never grow.

sadly I didn't discover this until my phone got hot and used a bunch of mobile data. Fortunately my Nextcloud is only 30GB but still definitely a bad bug.
As a really happy user of Nextcloud, I'm really shocked they haven't pulled the update and made an official statement. Its definitely dinged my confidence of Nextcloud a bit. 😞
