Yes it’s often a lonely journey. You have to go down the rabbit hole and discover what awaits you there. It's important to create some trigger events that encourage people to start reflecting and thinking critically. Mostly I don’t mention Bitcoin.

I think everyone can do this much to onboard more people. All of us stumbled over Bitcoin at some point and none of us understood at the beginning what is was.

However, I believe it's essential for Nostr to expand beyond the Bitcoin community in order to increase its reach.

I guess a king that’s wise because he probably has a long-term vision. He and his family want to stay in power for centuries and this can only be achieved if they care about the people. Efficiency is the result of an aligned vision.

Bitcoin is a 🍐2🍐 electronic cash system. It’s not just store of value. Nostr is one of our great chances to use it as cash.

Answer from AI on a centralized social media platform about why Nostr is better 😄
—-
Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays) offers several advantages over centralized platforms:
1. **Decentralization**: Unlike centralized platforms where a single entity controls the data, Nostr uses a network of relays (servers) that anyone can operate. This means no single point of failure or control, reducing the risk of censorship and enhancing privacy.
2. **Privacy**: Users on Nostr can communicate without revealing personal information, using public-key cryptography for identity. This is inherently more private than centralized systems where user data might be stored and potentially exploited.
3. **Resilience**: Because Nostr doesn't rely on one company or server, it's more resilient to attacks, outages, or shutdowns. If one relay goes down, others can take its place, ensuring that communication continues.
4. **Open Protocol**: Nostr is built on an open protocol, which means anyone can build applications or services on top of it. This encourages innovation, competition, and prevents lock-in to a single service or app.
5. **User Control**: Users have complete control over their data. They can choose which relays to use, how to store their data, and can even host their own if they wish. This contrasts with centralized platforms where you're at the mercy of the platform's policies.
6. **Interoperability**: Since it's a protocol rather than a single application, different implementations can talk to each other, leading to a richer ecosystem where users aren't confined to one app or service.
7. **Censorship Resistance**: It's much harder to censor content on Nostr because there's no central authority to force compliance. Each relay can have different moderation policies, allowing for a diversity of content moderation approaches.
8. **Cost Efficiency**: Running a small relay can be inexpensive, and users can benefit from community-run services rather than profit-driven ones where they might be the product.
9. **Freedom from Platform Changes**: Centralized platforms can change terms of service, UI, or features in ways users might not like, but with Nostr, if you don't like how one client or relay operates, you can switch to another or create your own.
While Nostr has these advantages, it also comes with challenges like user experience complexity, reliance on user technical knowledge, and potentially slower adoption compared to polished centralized platforms. However, for those valuing privacy, freedom, and resilience, Nostr represents a compelling alternative.

It’s time to more frequently use Nostr. Protocols are way better than Platforms ✌️

I'm looking forward to the day when I finally delete my twitter account. Until then, #Nostr just needs some more adoption.

„As a thought experiment, imagine there was a base metal as scarce as gold but with the following properties:
- boring grey in colour
- not a good conductor of electricity
- not particularly strong, but not ductile or easily malleable either
- not useful for any practical or ornamental purpose and one special, magical property:
- can be transported over a communications channel“
