Frog and Toad! They were my favorites. I remember my dad taking me to the Children's Library for the first time, and I picked out all the frog and toad books. Then he got to talking with the librarian, and I read them all while I was waiting to walk home. He laughed when I told him, on the walk home, that you're supposed to read the books at home, that's the point of the library - you borrow the books to read at home - but I loved reading so much I couldn't wait. He was a good dad. ❤️

I have a VERY difficult time running at 5-6,000 ft ASL. I knew a girl who lives near me who ran a race in Denver, and I wished her luck. She did awesome and had no problems!

Exactly: they broadcast what they WANT us to see. That's not necessarily reality.
I went to the birthday party for a young daughter of a good friend who's also a WN. The young moms there were all homeschoolers, and their kids were so well behaved. It was wonderful to see the way they interacted with their children! Really lovely young women.
I attended a get together at another (conservative) friend's house recently, and we had great food and even greater conversations. Lots of young families with beautiful young children, all well behaved. And I recognized these parents as the kids I watched grow up over the last 25 years! My friend's daughter was there with her boyfriend, who was a real gentlemen and she showed me pictures of their hunting expeditions. She didn't go hunting growing up, but she loved it. They want to settle down and have a large family. I'm so thrilled for them.
This is reality. There are awesome young people out there, raised by stable parents who broke the cycle of abuse from their own parents. We did this with our son, too. It's amazing to see how he's functioning in life, not having to survive trauma like my husband and I did. And it's great that they're having families of their own. Quality vs. quantity.

Have you seen the videos when women catcall men? They do it as a "How do YOU like it?" kind of exercise, and all the men are so happy to get compliments from the women, it doesn't work out the way they (women) want it to.
My husband joined a gym earlier this year and has been doing great, working out and eating better. He lost about 20 pounds and I can see and feel the changes in his body. He looks fantastic, and I tell him this all the time. One of his workout buddies is a friend I know from another exercise group. Older man, very nice. This guy has been working out for 2.5 years and completely transformed his body. A real beast. He told my husband that his wife NEVER compliments him. I don't understand that at all, and it makes me sad.
Not all women are cunts, but there are enough who are loud and obnoxious enough that people notice.

I think the biggest problem is that there will always be people who will use consciousness altering substances to either escape/numb whatever problems/trauma they have, or who just enjoy the way it makes them feel.
I love a good cocktail, even knowing that alcohol is essentially poison for your body and brain. I have it infrequently, opting for kombucha instead which is actually beneficial for your body and comes in so many flavors is feels a little like a cocktail.
I don't partake of other substances because I like being aware of what's going on around me and don't have a lot of free time to waste.
A huge problem with heroin, other than it's physiologically addictive, is the fact that so much of it is spiked with fentanyl. Only tiny amounts of fent are required to kill someone, because people don't know what they're buying is spiked. It causes feeling of euphoria and is for people who want to relax. As opposed to people who use cocaine or other stimulants, which is more likely to be utilized by people with a "Type A" personality.
Human nature is consistent. We have to understand and accept that, then figure out how to work with it when it comes to drug & alcohol usage and dependency.
