This is definitely an answer we’re looking for. Hard to predict but we’ll have an answer for this soon. This hot tub would typically run on a 10kw resistance heater. But is now equipped with 5.5kw resistance heater as backup and a 4 kw miner doing up to 200 th/s. But it doesn’t need to run at max hash rate all the time to maintain temp. One of my favorite things about Snorkel is the cool people we meet and customers we have. We produce a small volume of scrap. A local artist was rummaging thru the scrap bin. I gave him some better pieces and he came back with some art in exchange. He does large format murals primarily but it is nice to see him embrace the small stuff as gifts.

Wood fired is definitely the way to go for simplicity. Especially if you have a lot of wood. The exterior coil ones have two issues. The burn is inefficient which generates a lot of smoke. And the heat transfer is inefficient. Our submersible stoves will heat your tub much much faster as a result. Here is the diy package I put on the #takemysats store for just this reason. What a week! A week ago we started on nostr with the @nprofile…2uxh app. After an incredibly warm welcome it was apparent that nostrland was different. Small companies can make strong connections w bitcoiners and grow a passionate follower and list.
Then @nprofile…87vx opened an sats based ecommerce store and started posting updates - several times a day. He’s has already added features based on my requests and ideas. It took me 3-4 days to get a store going for a limited selection of stuff. Some of the items I posted aren’t even available on snorkel.com.

I’m new to nostr and used primal. Honestly can’t imagine something better. Set up was a beeeze. The UX is slick and responsive. The notifications are reliable. The uploads are easy. Zaps are fun to send and receive. I didn’t know anything about nostr and on ramped quickly and successfully. Muting accounts is easy. The app and experience reminds me of when I first started using bitcoin. A lot to learn for me but @nprofile…rdqz was ridiculously good for a new user to nostr. Highly recommend.

Hello again Nostr! Appreciation and introduction post. Have been here 5 days now. Wow what a vibe shift from X and IG. Snorkel was founded in 1979 and is getting a modern reboot in 2025. We’re trying to get the company back to the modern world in terms of our digital presence and operation. The designed experience laid out here has been my exact experience. The one thing I’ll call out is getting a fat zap on MY first post WAS an incredible on-ramp. @nprofile…6gqk hit me w a big zap and it immediately allowed me to engage with others and zap good replies and content. I’m 3 days in on nostr. The design aesthetic is better. The zaps are a new form of feedback. Likes are free but zaps signal more authenticity and probably keeps the bots at bay. Because it’s niche there is much more of a community feel - good vibes. Helping other accounts. Less toxicity. Looking forward to more.
