The Ikea Billy bookcase is iconic, has been around forever, so it’s great when you want to add an extra piece to an existing unit… except when they stop selling it in the colour you’ve built the unit on *(Birch is not available anymore) :(

I bought an EV made by a Bad Person (second-hand, and he was just a regular Bad Billionaire then, not a Fascist Billionaire) but I hope the benefit from expanding the market for EVs and reducing the market for dinosaurs outweighs the damage from Bad Person.

So I bought an EV 18 months ago. I could not afford a petrol car anymore, I’ve factored in the 75% saving on running costs, and 95% saving on maintenance.
I’m renting, if I could buy my current house, and a battery - north-facing roof in full sun - my household energy costs would plummet to nearly zero.
I REALLY don’t understand people complaining about cost of living but buying new petrol cars. #ev

In Sydney, Liberals only have Cook in the Shire, Mitchell & Berowra in the north, Lindsay & Hume in the west. Mitchell and Berowra are much, much less secure than they were, they are very close to being irrelevant to Sydney people. #ausvotes

Continued the tradition of riding Narrowneck Plateau on the anniversary of breaking my hip there. It’s four years ago today!
Photo shows the spot I came off: steep downhill, left bend, then the small rise before continuing down and to the left. I got cocky, took it too fast, and landed to the right of frame.

If I were a Labor government I would offer free solar panels on every suitable rented roof in the next term, and free batteries on every rented property next term. Landlords get the value increase, renters get free power. And renewables are suddenly wildly popular because everyone knows somebody who spends $0 on electricity thanks to renewables.
You could promise it costs $7.50 per house because apparently truth is not important anymore.

I’m interested in why you did that, should I read up in your feed? Apple Music pays artists significantly more than Spotify, I reckon it’s worth it just for that.
