Here in Germany the term is usually held to be (originally) an abbreviation of "Antifaschistische Aktion".

I shot 8 rolls each of 120 and 135 format and I really tried to like it. I got some results that I really loved and some that were only so-so.
TBF I used it for some experimental projects in shitty cameras, weird light or improvised chemicals.
But love/hate relationship about sums it up.

I have tried several batteries, but haven't tried the vinegar. I don't think there has been any leakage, though. I made sure to remove the batteries when not in use, because I read that air zinc batteries are prone to leakage.

I bought a Pentax SP 1000 in 2021 and after some time the meter died. It serves very well as a manual camera and is one of my favorites.

With its drop-in lenses for different focus zones and the three apertures, it certainly offers more options than my Agfa box from 1932.
I'm not sure If the results are really better, though.
The previous owner was surprised and delighted that it produced any images at all, so that's OK, I guess.
