Had a consultation with claude:
ddev would be a solution, but with docker-compose I could use a shared mysql database and save RAM.
Therefore the leaner stack would be: n8n, docker compose on a Hetzner CAX31
„The 16GB RAM matters — each Craft preview stack (PHP + nginx + MySQL + Redis) eats roughly 500MB–1GB idle, so 8GB limits you to ~4 concurrent previews, 16GB gives you ~8–10.“
And my question: „Does anybody use such a Setup with automatic / ephemeral preview environments? Why is it not common in the craft cms community?“

Automated Pull Request development with #AI agents for #craftcms, rough idea:
- #n8n for workflow handling (ticket/markdown --> start agent --> PR creation)
- server with #ddev and #claudecode (?) running, connect via SSH
- setup one ddev project automatically per PR / task
- serve preview via `ddev share` (maybe), to have preview URLs
Blocker: I'm not a #devops person at all, would assume that a MacMini would be most easiest as development server 🤓 But VM would be more profesh.

Checking out https://antigravity.google/ (VSCode IDE fork), current selling point is most likely the free plan with "Generous weekly rate limits *". https://antigravity.google/
Developer experience is almost like the ChatGPT Codex vscode plugin, which requires ChatGPT pro (and has weekly rate limits as well).
Antigravity feels a bit faster and snappier tough.
( 🌱 Water usage and power consumption is a huge problem, local models are not available so far)

don't know how obsidian does it exactly + I haven't used their sync feature
But if I put the notes folder into a cloud-synced folder like owncloud, onedrive, etc. on my laptop - every save / change for a file is synced and uploaded by the owncloud / onedrive client
(Not an obsidian problem, just how cloud folders work)

Installed #obsidian for #notes, also want to try #joplin as open source alternative.
But I don't want to sync every added word to the cloud immediately. Just feels not sustainable at all to trigger a network request and upload for every character 🌱 #greenIT
Currently looking into launchd (cronjobs) to copy my notes folder into the owncloud folder just every hour. How do you all solve this?

Currently at the crossroads of figuring out a new job pathway, ...
- I really liked working with craftcms, this would mean trying to get another - potential stressful - agency developer job.
- Also I would love to work towards a purpose (as developer), like „fighting the climate emergency“ - but these jobs are not advertised (yet?)
