A decision that worked out well for both bands. Dokken's first record (featuring Croucier) is a train wreck/dumpster fire hybrid of a disaster. But Jeff Pilson's experience and song writing acumen (and his ability to work with both Don Dokken and George Lynch) led to Tooth And Nail, perhaps the Sunset Strip glam equivalent to Master Of Puppets.
