Where are the nuanced left-wing takes on modern AI and LLMs?
So much of the discourse around this tech is centered on rejecting it because of who currently owns it. But like all tech, it can be used for both oppression and liberation.
Who is focusing on the latter?

Yep, the guy is a scumbag. Though he's also part of Musk's inner circle, so I'd say it's less "prescience" and more "directly influencing the agenda".

I miss the days when these people weren't mainstream. This stuff started around similar circles as the rationalist/Less Wrong crowd, that whole community has always been enmeshed with some extreme-right undercurrents, and Yarvin himself was an active poster on lesswrong in the early days.

it's fine calling them garbage so long as you're not relying on their votes. But then you need to make up the difference by getting the votes from somewhere else. And the dems, every time, simply assume that those other votes will materialize from people falling in line to avoid the bigger evil from being elected
