the thing i always find most baffling is people using AI for tasks that are already solved:
GitHub already contains a dependency updater that doesn't rely on AI and a lot of languages also have dependency updaters that can easily be executed in GitHub actions for free

One thing i really adore and the #fediverse is the amount of control you have about what you see. Instance is flooded with racists, bigots and other trash that is being put in your timeline? Go to one of the profiles -> mute entire domain and it's gone from your feed, searches, replies, retoots etc.
The ease of curating the people i want to talk to is pretty great
