My dog is driving me nuts. It's too cold to take him for a walk. So he is anxious as fuck.
He likes to be chased for 10 minutes
Will play fetch for 3 minutes
And gets frustrated that his king takes too much effort to get the treats (maybe 15 minutes)

same I'm so excited for someone to finally lose their shirt over the use of LLMs
There was a big company that used LLMs and it make up everything, every fiscal report, falsified connects and contracts. The stakeholders were fucking pissed.
I do like googles notebook LLM. The audio summaries are 90% accurate. Even had one parse a complex training I created and it was 100% spot on.

for work, I created a dashboard, I converted it to PDF so I had a snapshot. Ended up being about 15 pages, and I had an LLM created a summary for me to email to people who won't read it and it hallucinated 20% of the data.
It literally had to summarize the 15 points in the PDF by graph titles that I created and 3 of topics it just made up the data that was clearly visible on the graphs.
It's insane. It's useless

secure boot doesn't do anything for security from my understanding, since it's so easy to bypass. It should be off by default.
I just read that mass grave.dev can opt you into the win 10 extended security patches. Might be worth looking into.

I tried that launcher several years ago, I found it difficult to use, for some reason.
Most of my problem is that dependencies aren't getting installed, I've found that proton tricks can work if it actually detects the install.

windows 11 isn't that bad tbh. I upgraded shortly after it came out, it's been stable, for the most part. I went in a disabled all the telemetry I could and did some extra tweaking to make it look closer to windows 10.
He can't stand gimp lol and I wanna say he uses openshot but I've used davinci before, so I'm glad to hear it runs well on Linux.
I've definitely been thinking of switching to Linux for gaming, I like my steam deck, it works pretty well as long as I buy the games from steam. It's a hassle for me to get 3rd party games to get running.

yeah it's not worth 80 bucks. I like the free movement and not being locked into a set of races when playing online. Feels less restrictive, but its "fine"
Like you said it's earth with Mario shit in it. Not bad but I was expecting something.... different? I guess.
I'm also disappointed by the travel between maps, like It's a really cool concept but it's almost too seamless? I find myself lost in the race then realizing that I'm no longer on the first map as I'm almost to the next map, plus each map is really short.
