I used to live in Slave Lake AB, where we would get live radio updates in the spring on which bears had come into town following the local creek. We had moved there from Victoria BC, so it was a bit of a surprise for the younger me.

depends? There's a level of diminishing returns when a lot of clients are around and a lot of discussion about when and where to place routers or repeaters. You might be tempted to run one or more of them as routers or repeaters, but I wouldn't recommend that. There's a saying in the community: "Routers are for mountains!" I think having a couple of client devices on either side of an office could help spread the mesh nicely though.

Man, I really like the idea of #Meshtastic and it worked supremely well at #Defcon 32 this year, but I would give my left appendage (whichever one it takes) to get more local folks up and on the mesh.
