Ik kies er bewust voor om een aantal zaken grondig te begrijpen. Andere niet. Het risico van teveel leunen op big-tech hier is dat we uiteindelijk niks echt meer begrijpen (en dus ‘dom’ zijn).

The Steve Bannon wing of #Maga fears that AI will displace workers en masse, and is appalled by what children are exposed to on digital platforms. Lijkt me wijs om als Europa kalm te blijven; de ingeslagen weg blijven volgen van (eigen) afschrikking opbouwen, Rusland onder druk zetten, Oekraïne in het zadel houden etcetera.

@nprofile…9zq7 Er zal waarschijnlijk een minderheidskabinet komen van D66, VVD en CDA. Yesilgöz (machtsdronken) kan zo richting haar achterban verkopen dat ze echt niet in in links kabinet zit. GL-PVDA kan de fusie buiten het kabinet afronden. Afhankelijk van het onderwerp zal er in de kamer naar meerderheden gezocht worden.

@nprofile…9zq7 Ik was ooit lid. 😀 Maar miste op termijn visie en vernieuwing (die in beginjaren m.i. wel aanwezig waren). Persoonlijk ben ik er wel voorstander van dat partijen als D66 (en Volt) opgaan in een brede progressieve volkspartij waaruit GL/PVDA al bestaat. Progressieve beweging huist dan aantal fracties: groen, pro-Europa, sociaal-liberaal, sociaal-democratisch,..Verschillende partijen zijn nu niet goed te onderscheiden. En zijn het in de praktijk ook vaak eens.

@nprofile…wsyd Volgens mij was explainability voor deep nets sowieso al vrij beperkt? Komt door de complexe, niet-lineaire interne representaties van hoe een model tot een voorspelling komt. Ik denk dat een ‘reasoning model’ ook deels een marketing concept is. Wat m.i. wel echt zou helpen qua transparantie is als die grote partijen eens volledig transparant zijn over de data die ze gebruiken voor model training.
