In the meantime, I haven’t been sick since before March 2020.
Odd, that.
It couldn’t possibly be because I isolated for 22 months and then only stopped masking for about a month, back in the halcyon days when “they” said it was *safe.*
Or even the fact that I’ve been running (more than necessary) air purifiers in my house constantly since then, either.

How to Do Escapism in the Trump Era
(Soviet lessons)
Yes, practice escapism in your homes. Do what you need to do to survive mentally but don’t practice escapism by yourself as a main means of coping.
Escape *with* your chosen community, whether that be family, friends, people you share common interests with; choose to spend your time with meaningful people, even if you are sitting around playing a card game or sharing a frozen pizza.
Community is vital.
Personally I will advise you to commit small acts of dissent, even if you only do them by yourself for yourself. That’s from my personal experiences as a person that was subjected to DA and gaslighting for 55 years.

My husband has FTD.
He isn’t *there* yet, he still pretty much stays in the present, at least as long as you are speaking with him.
Where he goes when he isn’t speaking to me is anyone’s guess.
I can say that his executive functioning is quite impaired. Most of the time he doesn’t realize it, anosognosia, thank goodness.
He went through the horrible personality changes at the beginning.
Losing him while he’s here is awful.
If djt has FTD and his family is complicit in this I hope they all suffer from their most terrifying fate in perpetuity.

I think that’s a great idea.
If a book I was thinking about reading had a sample available I’d probably read it and that would sway my decision.
If you published it here I’d download it with every intention of reading it. I’d probably get to it in short order.
I’ve discovered a source of free books and I’m reading almost continuously now.
