sure, when not using native ui (mostly swift ui nowadays), you can draw what you want to. same for websites. but the lack of system integration that has many other disadvantages, and even there the look is mimiced often nowadays 🤷‍♂️
as said, also apple seem to go back some steps with iOS 27

when doing native apps as deltachat, being integrated in the system, having its look&feel, there is no option other than LiquidGlass soon with iOS 27.
good news, however is that apple itself will tweak a lot wrt LiquidGlass in iOS 27 - they seem to listen to feedback as yours :) iirc, there are system options to tune it down massivly
ftr, i personally could have lived without LiquidGlass as well :)

Delta Chat ist derzeit primär ein privater Messenger, wie Signal. UX und Optionen sind darauf optimiert, mit Freunden zu chatten, mit vertrauenswürdigen Menschen.
Daher gibt es auch kein "offizielles" oder "öffentliches" Gruppenverzeichnis :)
Das ist der Status Quo, und das kann sich in der Zukunft verschieben, einen Fokus auf öffentliche Gruppen (und damit einhergehenden Admintools usw) gibt es aber derzeit nicht.
Aaaaaber: "Kanäle" wird es demnächst geben :) https://github.com/chatmail/core/issues/6884

it is extraordinary, how #deltachat #android, over all the years, with all the #features added, did manage not to grow in size
- version 1.0 from 2019 was 64 mb
- today's 1.54 is 53 mb :)

💡did you know ... you can have recent #deltachat chats on #android directly on the home screen:
- long tap the “Delta Chat” icon, you see the most recent chats then
- drag the desired chat to the home screen

#webxdc apps are back to #iOS homescreen: as the old pwa-hack stopped working, we this time get all-in and created a nice widget - 💄 - where you cannot only place apps, but also any chat! and when going multi-profile, even from any profile #deltachat
