Let's not forget that in the same way that Europe finds itself unfortunately suffering from regulatory over reach that has left the masses suffering, the US (albeit to a less existential degree) has also found itself in a similar situation with issues such as regulations on vehicle emissions which has decimated the small and mid-size diesel vehicle industry. The buoyancy of the ping pong ball pulls up on the right side with as much force as the volume of the water it displaces pushes down due to gravity. It's like trying to sail a sail boat by placing a fan on the boat. The forces cancel themselves out. The steel ball displaces an equal volume of fluid, but does not pull up on the left right like the ping pong ball does on the right, so the force of the water displaced is not canceled out and the left side goes down.

The displaced water weighs something, and it pushes back up on the ball with exactly that weight. The difference on the scale isn't the displacement force itself. It's how that force reaches the pan. The ping pong ball is tied to the bottom of its own beaker. The string yanks upward on the beaker with nearly the full buoyant force, canceling most of the downward shove on the water. This is Archimedes' principle.

Unpopular opinion. You're all wrong. This isn't a mass equation, it's a buoyancy equation. Since both sides have the same displaced fluid volume, the steel ball pushes down on the water because it is outside of the system, while the forces on the right with the ping pong ball cancel themselves out since they are all internal within the system.

But I believe that in hindsight, every 'mistake' we make was the best decision we could have made with the information available to us at the time. It's apparently a permanent neurological dysfunction caused by ssri withdrawal, in the form of akathisia which she also blames for their severe dietary allergies which *forced* them onto the Lion Diet. The recent hospitalization had nothing to do with benzos (and the past benzo related hospitalization was so severe because the stress from the benzo withdrawal triggered severe akathisia from the prior ssri withdrawal), but instead by a recent exposure to a moldy environment.

Overblown fears for GrapheneOS users. Yeah, Google would do this, but anti-trust heat is on them hard, while ASOP support for Pixel 10 was released in Nov. And GrapheneOS is currently working on pulling away from Pixel devices to avoid Google's Pixel lockdown. Legally, Google can't get away with locking down ASOP like they can with Pixels, so pivoting to other OEM devices is a smart move.

Girls love Bath & Body Works. Lotions, candles, etc. My mom swears that their air freshener (the wall flower) is the best air freshener hands down. And the lemon scent is amazing in kitchens, admittedly. This year, I am buying my mom a new analog watch. Women's watches are surprisingly inexpensive compared to men's, and a good watch is also a fashion statement. Also, you mentioned fountain pens in your post. Daily planners, journals, etc, make great gifts for sisters and nieces.
