I have a question I need answered.
I was only 2 when Ronnie took office so I don't have a lot of memories of his presidency, only stories. I was always under the impression Daddy Bush was selected as VP because they were gonna do the dirty on Regan and put Daddy in charge. Then they did but he lived and got in line with the program.
So was ronnie always in it and that was all for show? Or was it legit just a crazy dude? Or???

I made these corn dogs for dinner last night. Everyone said they were the BEST corn dogs they've ever eaten.
I don't know if I'd go THAT far but they were pretty darn good.
* I did end up having to add extra flour to this recipe to get the correct consistency *

I ended up having to pull them and put in the dehydrator for a few hours. There were some that were getting a white fuzz on them. I don't know if it was the humidity or the tomatoes. The ones that got fuzzy were tomatoes given to me, grown by someone else so maybe they were too old to start with

I pulled most of the tomato plants today to make room for the fall garden. I planted lettuce, carrots, sugar snaps, green beans, broccoli and a couple of re-rooted tomato cuttings. We are on the cusp of being too chilly for the tomatoes but I'm gonna try it and see what happens. Tomorrow I'll make chow chow with the tomato I pulled off the old plants

Today I'm giving it a first attempt at sundried tomatoes. It's supposed to be in the 90s for the next 2 days so it should be a good time for it. The set up is rather crude, thrown together in 20 minutes last night. If it works I will tweak it to add a framed, hinged glass top and legs.

Finally got around to canning some mushrooms. I'd say this is probably the easiest canning recipe I have ever made. Thanks to the lovely @npub10ph…mgvz for sharing the recipe
