yeah; only the flight of Cassandra is relatively standalone and hard to get (it's included in a game) so I'd skip that one

I read it in publication order and I think that makes the most sense. Goodreads also has a chronological order, maybe that's fun for a reread but I wouldn't do that for the first read.

You should give Discworld another try! In the first two Discworld books Pratchett is still really finding his way. I'd advise to skip them; if you want to try again Small Gods is a great one and can be read standalone. If you do like it, just start from book 3 onward

llms are like a junior who never learns, you always need oversight. I don't really understand why people think they can do proper standalone work. I've made good use of copilot helping me with one level above gruntwork though, where search and replace isn't enough, but it isn't complex either
