thankfully viz media came along and picked up the rights and gave it a brand new uncut english dub that is way better then what we got back in the blockbuster days and they dubed the whole series and films and overall i enjoyed it. im sure some may say otherwise but i think the viz dub is how we should have got sailor moon back then in the 90s and 2000s and im happy to see that show got the dub it needed

nice and same here. i honestly cant stand how in anime the guys sound too deep and the girls sound too high pitched to where its annoying. im the same i only anime subbed if no dub exist or if a dub is so bad and edited down to where your better off watching the ogirnal version. i remember that was the case with sailor moon for sometime with the old DIC/cloverway dubs back then where a lot was changed or censored and they didnt finish the last season, sailor stars at all

do you watch anime subbed or dubbed? i prefer dubbed becasue the jap voices are annoying and i dont like having to read subs as it gives me a headache. i prefer dubs as long as they dont censor anything or change the music

my favorite is the Sega saturn pro controller by retro bit. I really love this controller because its what I wanted from a controller thats a mix of the old and the new. Its shape reminds me of the six button Sega mega drive controller but it also have the dual joycon sticks and L and R bumper and trigger buttons for playing modern games. It just feels nice in my hands and the buttons feel soft to push then xbox buttons. Its great for both retro and modern gaming on PC and I love it

yep! they sure are. my current keycaps have both enlgish and japanese on them but i like this becasue it almost looks like its only in japanese while still having the english letters on the side so i can still use it if need be. plus it will go great with my japanese themed linux mint system

and be sure to check out retroarch as well. This is my go to all in one emulation station nowadays and you emulate stuff from the Atari 2600 all the way up to the Wii and ps2 era and theres a bit of customization you can do with the UI and borders or filters ingame as well which is I love those options as well. Be sure to check it out too if you're looking for a good emulation station and it works on linux too!

speaking of which, how do you get your retro gaming fix? Do you play on original systems or use emulation, lately ive been using retroarch for all my retro gaming needs and not too long ago I learned about retro achievements which does exactly what it sounds like, adds achievements to retro games which breaths new life into them and makes me want to play them again even if they are ones ive play time and time again. I love achievement hunter in steam games so its right for me

and yes it is a bit of chore having to read through a show or film as well and thats another reason I prefer dubs. The only time I go for a subbed anime is when the dub is so poorly done or if there is no dub at all bit for most anime films or series they often do get dubbed and I do feel that most dubs have gotten better more or less. If they change anything the internet and the fans defiantly find out about it and make a fuss about it, which is understandable

sadly nowadays even the prices to buy retro consoles and games are getting higher if they are deemed collectable as if they are some rare historical items. Emulation is the way forward at the rate things are going

what advice would you give to someone who is a linux mint cinnamon user who wants to try fedora KDE but be overwhelmed by how different it is compared to mint?
