My tent, which has sheltered me and my children for more than a year and a half, has been worn down by all the seasons… the heat, the dryness, and the heavy rain. Its cover is now torn, its wooden poles broken, and we no longer have anything to protect us from the winter cold that has become a nightmare chasing us every night.

My children, Tala, Majd & Moeen, have visual & skin disabilities due to lack of melanin. They need special glasses & sun protection daily. Life in Gaza makes even basic survival a challenge.
