Either way, both ATP and AP are flawed insofar as being dependent on servers representing single points of failure whereas Nostr is simply a network of relays with built-in fault tolerance and no single server dependency. @npub147t…gu5w

Yeah. But, to what end? Is it to make people arbitrarily hate China? Or, to make people feel better about life in their Western country? Is stuff like this paid for by state entities or done freelance? There a group of people sitting around some think-tank coming up with lies they think they can plausibly get away spreading? Because the more you think about it the more honed-in stuff like this seems. It's not racism, it's not casual internet bigotry, it's specifically geopolitical, it's not accidental, the people spreading this *know* what they're saying isn't real (the entire account is just anti-Chinese propaganda), and the target audience is clearly non-Chinese-speaking Westerners. So, it's either some individual who just really, really hates China or probably apart of some wider-spread 3-letter-agency financed campaign.

I'm not even familiar with Greasmonkey but, yeah, it doesn't surprise me at all that all these browsers and tech companies collude to stamp out any abilities of people to circumvent programming and censorship, cringe as it may be. You have freedom of speech and expression so long as it fully aligns with the engineered zeitgeist and furthers the agendas of your controllers and doesn't disrupt any narrative-creation-and-control initiatives.

There's really no point in commenting on mainstream social media anymore in {{ .date }} considering how much of the engagement content you see is probably fake astroturfed stuff and how these networks shadow-ban and censor any organic or genuine content that doesn't align with whatever advertisers want or the establishment ideology. The only "real" places these days really are networks like the Fediverse. I refuse to believe that anywhere else is actually real.
