Finally dug this pack of cards out of my drawers at work. A free give-away, given to me from a colleague who attended an IT conference. I think they are a great idea to be honest. Considering I cant see them active in the Fediverse but they state they want to raise awareness of cyber security terminology, I'll assume they wont mind me posting a paring each day. Happy to remove if they ever contact me. I'll see if I can keep all of these in a thread so people can just scroll through. #cortida

I cant remember where I saw it mentioned but I finally got around to installing Wanderer & it is 'AWESOME'! Hosted on my local server (alongside Immich for my photos) this is exactly what I've been looking for for a very long time! Years of OrganicMaps/CoMaps trails along with historical Strava (& maybe 1 or 2 Komoot trails) can now be backed up & stored locally. Tested a few GPX imports last night & it just works! Cannot wait to get editing & adding details/photos. #wanderer #Immich #selfhosted

Fair enough. I'm pretty sure he has one (or two) and has made videos on his ownership of them and what they are like to have as daily drivers, not just about the specs. Still, good luck with your search.

I've bought Nutcrafter cheese before, several years ago but I think they might have gone out of business now (their site seems to be an MMA related site now). is Geany a basic text editor? If so, Obsidian maybe overkill for your requirements but I have used it before and pretty sure it supports markdown. I havent used it in a while though as you can tell. Let us know what you find as a suitable replacement, I can then add to my recommendations list if anyone else asks your question 👍

Encroyable! Great work in promoting OSM 👍 Used it (again) today for a half hour drive and only realised about an hour later my mobile data wasn't actually turned on. My Organic maps app had my journey local, with zero issues getting where I needed to. Pretty sure Google/Apple maps don't work offline. Ne pas s’arrêter 😊

Having watched @npub1rmw…px3u video on Obtainium ( @npub1s7f…z0n0 ) a little while ago, it's now my default way to install all apps on my Pixel ( @npub1kwa…e0nj ) phone. Organicmaps.app
( @npub1fkd…85ac ) however is the first site 'I' have noticed promote it as one way to install their app (alongside the usual cohort of course). Cool! Big up to all those involved in the above accounts. Your hard work, dedication and graft is appreciated by many!
