I was a Robin Williams fan even before i was a star trek fan! Some of my earliest memories are of watching Mork & Mindy! 💖 (reruns on nick-at-night, i think, in the middle(?) 1980s 😉)

But speaking of *the floor thing*, have any of you watched the sitcom "Ghosts"? (I watch the american version by CBS.)
It is the most adorable show, and I love it to bits!💖 The characters are just so lovable, the stories are cute, and they actually discuss some of these common sci-fi tropes!
Like, they have very specific rules for how the world works. Even if the characters don't know why! And they did an entire plot based on *floor*!🤣

Although I wondered something else. Since *out of phase* was already covered in Trek, (With Geordi and Ro) we know what that looks like. And it means being invisible, not just passing through solid matter. 🤔
Is that because of different frequencies or tech?
(Come to think of it, SG-1 had it work both ways too, depending on different tech! 😂)

Well, the only reason San knew to use it in the first place was because Fuzz informed him of the plan. So Fuzz probably had a discrete look at the device (or made a scan of it), so San could make sure his was identical. (That's my headcanon anyway!😹)
