I have no problem believing that men that would force women or girls to service them sexually against their will would also not have a problem beating or killing them if they refused, did not do a 'good job' or they thought they may talk. This would not be considered the 'cost of doing business' but one of its 'perks'

They have a tradition for the Spring Thaw where they will put an old car out on the ice and place bets on when it becomes a fish habitat.
They call it "Ice Out" day.

Remember Milkmen? If you do you are old. There was a mystery around the neighborhood where I grew up a bazillion years ago. Everyone's milk, left on their porch very early, would have the top off and be down about 4". No one had any idea what was going on, until finally...
Someone got up early enough to see our Sheepdog pry off the top, drink it as far down as her tongue would reach, and then move on to the next house.
We were not popular.

Until recently, my wake up call was the howling of a Flame Siamese cat (shown in the background) and I always woke up annoyed.
I have now upgraded my alarm tone to that of two Bengal mix young cats barreling up and down the hall making a surprising amount of noise for two small cats. 'Velvet paws' my fat butt. Now I wake up giggling. Meet Sage and Jewels, not siblings yet almost identical and definitely inseparable.
