the problem is, there are many examples, even in sunni traditions, of people (including companions) misunderstanding rasulullah (saw). its natural, its normal, no one is infallible except rasulullah (saw).
Abu hanifa and ahlul rai understood this (they have also been eroded by ahlul hadith, but some still exist). so they use their intellect that Allah gave them to understand islam, understand hadith and understand how politics influenced them.
they also dont make anything part of Aqeedah which is not explicit from the Quran, because the Quran is sufficient as a guide.

well imam Malik and Abu hanifa existed before imam muslim and bukhari. its not really a clear cut distinction like that and bukhari and muslim are extremely similar anyway. I know you meant the madhabs but they also succumbed to ahlul hadith principals over time.
Abu hanifa simply questioned the narration of anyone, he did not make assumptions about anyones (even sahabas) understanding, he questioned everything. and this is based in many examples in our tradition like when Aisha (ra) criticized the narration of Umar (ra) because he misunderstood rasulullah (saw).
So they had different levels of authenticity even from sahaba. hadith from Ibn masud, Ibn Abbas for example had much higher weight than hadith from abu huraira, because abu huraira was not a faqih while Ibn abbas and Ibn masud were scholars.
thats the whole point, there are many many nuances in hadith (which anyone approaching logically can realize) but people who approach it dogmatically just accept what they have been told, and the dominant narrative (in the sunni world) is that bukhari and muslim are not questionable, the sahabas narrations are not questionable. and they made that part of Aqeedah, why? for sectarian reasons, for the sake of the ummayyads and abbassids and their political agendas.

Yes, and its not something new. The early hanafis understood this. A sanad can be sahih with a daeef matn or a daeef idraaj, or many more things.
Sunnis later established adalaat us sahaba as part of the growing ahlul hadith position (shafi, hambali) and part of that formalization was to throw out alot of nuance in hadith science.

this regime of social media has always been garbage... social media for me has always been about connecting with real people, people i care about, usually people i know in real life but also occasionally meeting new people.
but over the past 10 years social media like twitter, snapchat, instagram, they became about connecting with strangers, interacting with strangers, forming tribes of strangers... people stopped having real interactions a long time ago and instead just started regurgitating whatever slop was popular with their followers. people started chasing the approval of literal nobodies, praying that someone with more followers gives them a boost.

Idk if this is the right word for what im thinking, but ultimately the source of all of this is populism. that is the phenomenon where once a narrative becomes empowered (i.e. popular) then it is no longer open to criticism. any criticism or questioning of that narrative results in excommunication, ostracization or worse. That narrative then becomes the truth, generations later learn that narrative in schools and when they question it, they are told not to.
Do not question the actions of muawiyah, uthman... etc. they have become de-facto infallible... when we know there is only 1 who is infallible (saw). Not criticizing them has become a point of doctrine (aqeedah), even if this position is riddled with contradictions and fallacies, it doesnt matter because its popular.
some even say you cant criticize Yazid ibn muawiyah. and how did all this become popular? because the ummayyads were dominant so naturally they supported their own narrative until it dominated. Abbassids also did not stray far from this narrative, because it was of great practical value.
not only great scholars, but even Sahaba (Abdullah ibn zubayr, Ahlul bayt raa) were subjugated because they opposed the politics of the Ummayyads.
Abu Hanifa (ra) was a key detractor of the ummayyads, seen by his refusal to judge for them and by his support for the rebellion of Imam Zayd. The later hanafis also eventually succumbed to the Ahlul hadith movement.
However there are still people who keep that true early spirit of islam alive, that spirit of Abu hanifa and Ahlul bayt, that spirit which stands alone against the entire world. Which has to bear the weight of the truth that they cannot make anyone understand. I know them as Ahlul Rai, (the people of opinion) they are the true inheritors of Abu hanifa.
Why is it this way? because Dunya is deception, this world was built to test us, and other muslims are part of that test. The ones who tested Ayyub (as) were believers, the ones who tested Yaqoob (as) and Yusuf (as) were believers, the ones who tested Rasulullah (saw) were believers.
Standing up for the truth means losing friends.
There is a reason Khidr (as) walks alone.

you still have the same issues... A car is more than the ICE + drive train. you still have a cooling system that needs maintenance, you still have suspension parts, you still have A/C, you still have the interior. what to do if a Vent motor goes bad? or an Evaporator coil? touchscreen breaks, the car is undriveable... steer by wire system as well....
they are too expensive when the batteries only last 7-10 years, even then, if they were easily replaced like prius batteries... but cars are just consumer products now. take a 4 year loan for a car, drive it for 5 years then rinse and repeat. its another embodiment of the FIAT system.

All my cars are from the 90s... 5 years old seems like star wars to me. sometimes i work on stuff from the 2010s and its cancer. EVERYTIME you unplug the throttle body from a Nissan Altima it will wipe the idle parameters and the computer throws its hands in the air and idles at 3000rpm like it doesnt know how to close the valve... then you have to scower the web for a kind soul in the forums who, out of the kindness of their heart, posted the re-learn procedure which was locked behind a paywall because apparently only Nissan dealer techs can perform it.

different scholars have different requirements for a sharia compliant currency. im not a taymi but here are ibn tayymiyyahs requirements:
functions as a medium of exchange (i.e. people accept it in exchange for goods and services)
not exposed to debasement or manipulation (government policies, counterfeiting, trimming)
does not serve as a commodity in and of itself (meaning its value is not realized until it is exchanged for something else)

Obviously secular (hedonistic) women in their 20s and early 30s are happier as singles without kids. they have more free time, more disposable income, less responsibility.
the problem is when you hit late 30s, 40s when you realize your home is empty, your friends betrayed you, your parents left this world and your siblings moved away from you.
