it's bad enough for numerous instances to defederate, and for Betula, a public project, it's quite important. I believe that the new admin team will set things straight, but I don't think refederation will happen.
Although I don't exactly know what are the numbers... Will take a look into it later.

#Fosstodon is basically done. Time to migrate. Can you recommend anything?
I'm looking for a big, sustainable instance with reasonable rules. Preferably focused on free software. Preferably Mastodon. Self-hosting is out of question. What do people use?
I know of #FlossSocial, but @npub1nsg…05sy is there already, and I don't want to have two accounts on one instance.

Many speculated that #Betula can be turned into a microblogging server easily. It's true, one only has to hide the bookmarked URL, writing the text in the bookmark description.
Paying attention to the rising popularity of microblogs around the world, we've decided to make Betula into such an application. The next version, v2.0.0, will be the start of the new era. We'll focus on compatibility with the leading platforms such as #honk and #snac2 first.
