So, mini painters, I just realized that while I REALLY enjoy painting minis 1 at a time I find painting multiples at a time, even 3 or 4 in steps 1 color at a time a REAL slog?

Not that we were actually abused but my wife and I know and have worked with the Photographer who introduced Neil and Amanda.
He took the shots that became "Who Killed Amanda Palmer" in the house he owns and the condemned lot next door, where we have hung out.
We have some of the original prints, on the wall in the kitchen.
Do I now take these down?

If I was in Tallahassee right this moment I'd be driving west if I could.
Even if it shifts a bit west it's always worse on the east side of a storm like this.
North and South are out, east would be worse.
West would be your safest bet.

It's a big old storm, in addition to possibly getting to a cat 4 it's wide, and hurricanes churn up a lot of surf on their Eastern side in this region.
That and 80 something degree temps as deep as 250 meters is a hell of a combo.

I've always been a weather nerd and when I moved here in 2017 I learned all I could about hurricanes.
Most people die because they don't understand and take them seriously.
The good news about this one for me is it's following a trough of very warm, very deep water like a zipper.
That's why it's supposed to turn eastish and follow that track.
Deep warm water is hurricane fuel and it's strong enough to make a pocket around itself and push through dryer weather.
Scary, but cool.

Those are great!
I bought some little groupings of boxes and barrels I found on temu and I use them all the time, very handy for atmosphere and things to hide behind.
