How would you define "solarPunk"?
I wonder if you should adress the contacts that figure in your collection or do they get a note anyway?
The far right has a superpower of expropriating words from the left to their own ends.
Ultimately the framing of words and to put them into use is done by the main stream media, and there is no left mainstream media.
It looked for some time that the asocial media could become some form or a chance of framing superiority, yet that was taken away by algorithms and the rest of interference they exercised on that kind of main consensus tool on conversations and wording. Bots and other tools like "logical fallacies, nonsense talking points, gotcha questions and extremist talking points", as pointed out by @Cory Doctorow in his take "How Trolls Weaponized The Marketplace Of Ideas", did the rest.
The most prominent example of re-framing, the probably most powerful word positioned in the general discussion in the era of rising greenpeace was ecosystem. Once fossil fuel industry realized the importance that term had gained and the danger it enshrined, they started to re-frame it to the point that today there is even an ecosystem of fossil fuel industries and products.

Trying to drag others into this we mentioned:
@aiquez who had joined forces in the first @studi0 project #fallVonMerz and re-shared the first version of this post already.
@crossgolf_rebel - kostenlose Kwalitätsposts, a decade long contact out here in the fedi, kinda reference, who does audio recordings and has experiences with podcasts publishing on funkWhale. He fav'ed the first version of this post and added a thinking face to it.
@Mina became the self-proclaimed patovica bouncer, a contact that owns all three involved languages (spanisch/german/englisch), has apparently real life knowledge of the region down here (or there, or anywhere), and claims to see everything.
@Red the Bean, a confused squirrel.
@Daniel Prieto, a quiet confused local interested in mushrooms.
Right now mysteriously we might have gotten our hands on a local contact that can or could help, as pointed out in the initial audio take, when it comes to check the truths behind our virtual reality out here.
As a means of tools, besides ourselves and our very own skills, we do have:

Well, well, well @guadazorrilla, what an outstanding Einstand of yours here in the fedi.
To begin with:
Of course first of all you study the university when you get there, who doesn't do that, actually anyone should do that with any new place he/she/it encounters, that's common, reasonable and normal.
And once you know it in and out it's most likely the best time to leave.
Than there is the fact that @SinMisterios from the get go womensplains a dude (apparently) from Brazil or Portugal (?), nearly call's him a racist, and fact checks him about something women from Argentina or more widely speaking "the americas" are immune to because they are used to #machoSplaining since they were born. Than the dude backs down with a blatant lie by stating "no quiero enseñarte nada" when actually he jumped straight into a conversation with a laughing female avatar.
And than, last but not least @bicivoladora comes flying in to declare her investment in the university as well.
Look's like it's time to keep on studying @PorOutroLado Podcast ..

That said:
> Ultimately, quote posts are a must.
No.
They are not a must. Code creates culture and environment and if in this case the coders of mastodon decide to do so or not is a decision about the culture the platform evolves.
> More people want them than don’t.
Who cares, they can go where quote sharing exist's, it's that easy. Actually that's why we created a descentralized system in the first place.
