What a riot. So investors got mad that after 2008 banks couldn’t loan as much to prevent bank runs, so they rushed to non-regulated private lenders. These private lenders are becoming insolvent, and people can’t pull their money out because it’s being lent to AI companies.
So investors want to go back to normal banks but won’t unless the government lets banks over-leverage themselves more. Creating the exact same issue people are leaving private credit for.

dread is mid and 2 remake is awful. Actual goyslop from the Castlevania lords of shadow mirror of fate devs. As someone who has actually played mirror of fate it basically has all the problems of 2 remake and the same try hard cinematic boss fights. It lacks all the atmosphere of the fucking game boy game And adds in new slop like a parry which stops you in place. Atleast dread sped up the parry and let you use it while moving.

The prof said a year ago someone submitted everything in C. Apparently in a year the department has fallen so bad using anything but Python is considered an act of insanity by anyone. Guess its also a coincidence that every semester indians began taking up more and more of the classes. Think the demos are now 80% Indian (like fresh off the boat foreign students), 15% Chinese students, 4% white, 1% Hispanic and black.

Ive messed around with rust in algorithm stuff because its easily to deploy then c++ (I also wanted to troll the TAs in this class because the prof said you could use any lanuage, now he has walked it back to just python because the TAs and class only know python 💀) but I can imagine doing a large scale project in rust. The second you even start adding functions outside main it starts getting messy. Can't imagine how bad it gets when you start getting a massive codebase

My dad wanted help cancelling a Microsoft subscription. His Microsoft account had no sub on it. My siblings had each made like 4 different Microsoft accounts when they tried to access word and one of them had the subscription. The whole account system was hellish and kept opening tabs in different web browsers and Microsoft's servers kept fucking up so we couldn't even log in. I just installed LibreOffice on the computer and had him report the card as stolen. BTW you cant even install win11 without an internet connection anymore they removed the ability to pull up the terminal and regedit during set up
