I don't think I'm not sober but she cautioned me not to reply if I wasn't. I will reply when I get out of the wood tomorrow.

I rebelled against my dad's Waylon and Willy example and opted for the Zeppelin train. Realizing how great the Waylon and Willy train really was I put Zeppelin on the second shelf they deserved.
I'm raising bumpkins like I was raised.
To my dismay my boys have put metal back on the top shelf. As mystifying as it is. I am grateful, however, my boys seek out Christian head bangers.
I reckon I'll hunt the grace in it and thank Jesus for His imposition into my progeny.

At supper tonight my sons asked me the craziest concert I'd ever been to; I'd been to many. Easy. Lynyrd Skynyrd North Charleston, SC early 90's. The entire show was a wild rebel reunion; from the opener with Rebel flags a'wavin, up to the moment when Freebird began and a Rebel Flag larger than could be believed dropped from the ceiling behind the stage. It became mayhem, but not quite what one would expect. Good ol boys were weeping, hugging, singing, dancing with their gals, it was nuts.

Just back from our tiny rural church's Christmas potluck and kid's Christmas program. My sons are by far the oldest and two of the only three boys. The old hens that ran it didn't give any consideration to how cowboy-boot-wearing country boys would feel being dressed up in such silly ways. It was funny as heck! I'm not going to let this one go for a while, despite the wife warning me not to tease them over it. Haha it was a sight!
I'm grateful we still get to enjoy traditional America. For now.

Not certain because we're not taking the test, but my kids and I have been down with something. Beginning two days ago my youngest is ill with a severe head ache and body aching but nothing else, 24 hours later it's over. The next day my oldest son with the very same. Today it's my turn. Nothing but a head ache and body aching. No drainage, fever, coughing, nothing. Never wrestled this way before.

I have this youngin that cannot help but be a character in all that he does. For his birthday mama took him to an antique store to hunt a gift. He comes home with this bright red sport jacket with all these buttons and a bugle. I sure do love being this boy's daddy. He is a great gift to me and his mama.
