In this account I don't like to talk about my job and how nerdy I am because I like to focus on daily life, my fashion passions and having friends.
But...
A nerd remains a nerd and I'm a (serious) self student in progress of shoemaking and shoe repairing.
I love to repair my own shoes and I only ask for help of a cobbler when I don't know or I don't have the tools for a certain job.
These pictures are from my current project that's been runing after a couple of years, I'm getting to the last touches.
Bear with me - it's not a finished shoe and imperfections are all around, particularly the outsole that is yet to finish glueing in the very end.
These mules are meant to be lovely summer heels, comfortable and stylish.
They're made from two other old pairs I had: a pair of boots that were too small and sourced the upper part and the heel, and a pair of very old pumps that I loved but the upper leather disintegrated after 15 years of good services. The pumps sourced the sole (very strong by the way), the shank (also very strong for heavy persons like me).
This project put me in a nice challenge, it needed cutting and sewing faux-leather, glueing, nailing, assembling, etc.
They're already passing the comfort test 😃
I'll share againg when it's finished or other advances.

That's how I went to the farewell party yesterday. Made a stop to buy a scarf because it was a bit chilly here and I... didn't plan accordingly.
There's a corset under the jacket for the "boob" effect. It's an old trick I learnt since I'm overweight and my hormones are not really manly since young age, no HRT but a... condition.
Eh, I have to buy more skirts and dresses to reduce my old wardrobe, sorry.

I always wondered how popular it is in the US to dress feminine in halloween. It seems the same in Brazil during carnaval.
Here in France things are a bit different, it seems that men don't even dare to dress (halloween is for women and kids only)
