Ich vermute, die EU hat keine Wahl, da Trump uns mit einem Dekret ins digitale Mittelalter zurückschicken könnte. Hier läuft halt alles mit Microsoft, Google und AWS. Weil's ja so schön bequem ist.

Like bumblebees ignoring the fact that they cannot technically fly, these guys made a C64 demo ignoring the fact that this is technically impossible on a 1MHz machine from 1982. Absolutely mind-blowing! 🤯

Wenn die EU das durchgehen lässt, werden Länder wie Italien und Frankreich nachziehen. Es schwächt außerdem die Verhandlungsposition gegenüber den Briten, die ihren Brexit-Deal neu verhandeln und cherrypicken wollen.
Wenn das so kommen sollte, war es das mit der EU.
Was mich am meisten daran ärgert, ist, dass das völlig ohne Not geschehen ist. Die Grünen hätten gut daran getan, wenn sie gesagt hätten: ohne uns.

Die Frage ist eher: Was jetzt? Die EU kann die Kontrollen nicht hinnehmen. Die Freizügigkeit ist der Kern der EU, er war schon beim Brexit nicht verhandelbar.
Jetzt stell dir vor, die Faeser muss sich eines Tages vor die Kamera stellen und sagen: "Wir wollten unsere Grenzen sichern, die EU hat es uns verboten." Bessere Werbung kann man kaum für die AfD und einen Dexit machen.
Die Drohung mit einem Koalitionsbruch wäre der kleinere Preis gewesen. Die ganze Diskussion ist im Grunde müßig. Deutschland hat gerade wichtigere Probleme als die Migration.

Die anderen Parteien hätten durchaus mit dem Ende der Koalition drohen können, wenn die Faeser das durchzieht.

Now that the trolls have found the fediverse, I think I feel more comfortable to change my profile to my nickname "Shred". It's not just a nickname, but my official alias. It's even printed on my ID card.
Why "Shred"? Well... Back in 1988 I needed a nickname to enter the Amiga demo scene, but I couldn't come up with a good one. Then I found the word "SHRED" printed on my swim shorts. English is my second language, and back then I didn't know the meaning of the word, but I liked the sound. So I called myself Shred. 😁

Hi, I'm Richard! I started #programming computers when I was about 9 years old. My first computer was a ZX81 (figure out how old I am now). #OpenSource and software development has always been my passion. My favorite programming languages are #Java, #Python, and #MC68000 #Assembler. 😁
If you follow me, you'll mainly read a lot of #RetroComputer stuff, especially about refurbishing and programming #Amiga, #C64 and #Sinclair machines. I also like #DIY and #3Dprinting. My other, much too much neglected interests are #photography, #cooking and #Japan.
