From what I saw on the FEC spreadsheet, they use a dash system to say what box it is. The software company was 103-550.
Honestly, it's unclear. He might be (and probably is) full of it, or he might actually have a list of 30 voters registered to boxes in Suite 103, and the internet's doing their normal "erm actually" thing where they think whoever has the spiciest zing wins. Only way to know for sure is to get a hold of San Diego's voter rolls, and I really don't care enough to.

The UPS Store in question is in Suite 103 of the apartment building. Mysteriously, none of the liberal outlets holding a dunk contest have mentioned this fact or said "California voter rolls don't show any voters at 4142 Adams St. Ste 103."

I don't know, I guess I can't suspend disbelief long enough to be fine with that. I think a lot of it's the weird "idol culture" surrounding it. They absolutely use certain aspects of the tactics, regardless of who read what. It's a good lens into the rot that's infesting modern society. For the most part, especially once you get younger than 40, progressives get their understanding of the world from social media influencers more than anything as high-minded as an actual activist or political thinker. Conservatives really didn't start leaning into the tactics until later. In fact, I'd say a lot of what you see with Trump and his administration are insanely clumsy attempts at imitating the excesses of the progressive methods over the last 10 years.
I still maintain that the site was designed to profit off of the social decay it helps to encourage, even if you can try to "fix it" by muting the 95% of the site that's screaming at moderation to ban said former Republicans and journalists.

No, the tactics aren't unique to either side, or any side, really, but they've had such a poisonous effect on our discourse as a society that it deserves to be attacked for what it is. I don't think he's a villain. He was just pointing out what works. He probably didn't understand just how it was going to impact things on the macro level when he outlined those tactics. To be fair, thinking big picture is pretty difficult, especially when you're trying to come up with solutions for a specific issue.

Slander and using motte-and-bailey tactics when confronted on being slanderous (which they'll only do if they might look bad, otherwise they'll just mock you for getting mad about said slander) are two of their favorite tactics. "Personalize the enemy" and "No bad tactics, just bad people" are two lines of thinking that are vital parts of their ethos. It's why they can be so bloodthirsty and have the body count they have while acting like they're about love and peace and standing up to a genocidal enemy.

That's what I'm worried about. Seeing oldheads like Nep and J/SJW bow out of the self-hosting game gives me some serious pause when it comes to trying it on my own. I have an Nvidia card and use it for gaming as much as anything. Supposedly Nvidia's working on a fix for the DX12 performance drain, but right now that's a dealbreaker. I'm not going to spend half a grand on swapping GPUs just to get something Linux-compatible, either.
What sucks is this is the same exact problem I ran into years ago when I gave Manjaro a test run on a laptop I had.
