my primary gripe with the Pinebook Pro screen is that it _refuses_ to run in anything but 1080p - which from what I understand is a hardware limitation moreso than a software / firmware one.
The screen itself is decent. I just wish I could run it at a lower resolution for a smoother experience.

if I have a baseline template that I have to write up and fill out
and I have other data that I'd be parsing ANYWAY to synthesize into a better summary to put into this baseline report template
LLMs are perfect for that.
Just copy-paste the context in along with the template
And then give it the other data
Et voila, 9 times out of 10 it's writing what I need to
And I _know_ it's accurate because it's my data and I know what it's supposed to say
It takes 5 minutes, not an hour

Rust as a language can be good.
Rust as an internet phenomenon full of fanbois and garage devs, sans very few actual professionals per capita relative to more established languages?
I could take it or leave it.
I also despise the Cargo dependency hell thing, they bought the same farm as NPM with Javascript and it's stupid.
But eh.
The _language_ itself can be good, so long as you don't write it like most people write it and drink the "leftpad" koolaid.

Ah you're right.
@npub1fj9…tslp mind if you fill them in on whatever server-side stuff is present?
There really isn't a lot. Just a few quality-of-life improvements like mining a tree in sneak mode cutting blocks one by one without having to build up into the tree to get the last block. :P
Simple stuff like that. We don't run big mods, we don't even do smaller packs like Waypoints actually. We have a rail network.
Charadon is the admin and can fill in on any other particulars.
