BTW, when I first quit smoking I found that if I chewed two pieces of nicorette at once, I would get all the nasty side effects of nicotine overdose.
Burning mucous membranes, stomach issues, crappy head feels. Like with chain smoking.
Something switched in my head, I knew I could overcome any nicotine urge that way.

I don’t know. Mostly I figure nicotine is just all about its addictive qualities. Like you don’t get the endorphins thing like with powder drugs. Maybe weightlifters get an enhancement on the natural workout endorphins with concurrent use of nicotine.

I switched to nicotine gum years ago. Generic 4mg. tic tac sized mint lozenges from Target nowadays. Nicotine is good drugs, man.

Got masks and snorkels here on the Maui trip. Trained my 14 year old daughter in the air bnb pool. Took the local bus to the better beach, and over 55 and students are free to ride, so the driver refused to take any fare. It was fun. Told my daughter to just deadman float and breathe. Highlight was seeing two sea turtles. Low point was her bf kinda panicking and running out of energy.
Went down a rabbit hole concerning full face snorkel masks that I saw others wearing. Apparently carbon dioxide builds up and people are dying in hawaii using them. I guess it’s hard to distinguish between face down snorkeling and a floating corpse.
