Oh I am juicing all of them, removing the insoluble fiber. I have been able to have juice throughout my disease, in fact Crohn’s forced me to get a good juicer which paradoxically vastly increased my intake of fresh fruits. My drug infusions are working also so I am eating a lot more solid foods now, but the fruits I am drinking.

I bought 2 pints of strawberries today because they were only $.99 each. Just washed and juiced them. They taste terrible and I will probably throw the whole batch out.
Store also had “champagne” mangoes, which I’d never tried, for $1 each (a 7-for-$7 thing, but I could mix and match so I ended up with 4 mangoes and 3 avocados).
And although ripe, the mango I peeled and cut up is SOUR.
I hope the gigantic pineapple isn’t a disappointment.

In addition to Crohn’s disease, apres-covid I have crazy awful scalp psoriasis. Although a dermatologist prescribed powerful and effective topical steroids, I ceased using them after my IBD diagnosis. I am now using my skin conditions as a litmus test for my Skyrizi infusions, as the immunosuppressant is used to treat psoriasis as well; if mine clears up I will know it’s working. Meanwhile, I kind of resemble this gif.

I don’t think the shots gave me Crohn’s. I think my reactions to them gave a big indicator of vulnerability that was simply ignored. As I wrote before, the vaxes are okay for some and not for others and researchers should be figuring out who is which but they just ignore data points like myself and then smugly claim “100% safe”.
With Covid we’re fucked either way. The jabs effect some of us like covid itself. But I didn’t develop Crohns until after a very long drawn out infection. Maybe the jabs contributed, maybe they didn’t. Covid sucks in all ways, including attempts to mitigate it.

Now that I have Covid Reactive Autoimmune Pathology (CRAP), specifically Crohn's disease developed after an extended bout with Covid this Spring, I am thinking about all the douchenozzles who told me that the vaccines making me extremely sick was "good." "It means you have a strong immune system!" they said. Well guess what, a "strong immune system" that gives you a 102° fever for 3 days and makes you sick for at least ten, just from the jab, is an immune system that might turn on your own flesh given enough viral stimulation. "If they make you very sick, it means they are doing their job." Thanks for the Crohn's disease, lady.

Lola's tail suddenly became thin on the end, as if she has no undercoat there, or the fur there no longer fluffs up when the rest of her does. She has no fleas or apparent parasites, doesn't indicate any pain or sensitivity there, and she's her usual happy self. Any ideas?

All right people it's time for ol' Neens to buy a food processor (8-cup probably). Any recommendations? Warnings? Old Cuisinarts were good but they've changed, so I'm not loyal to the brand. If they're all ok nowadays I might just go for less expensive.

I was Today Years Old when I finally got one of these.
I'm not going to regret the past, because it's over and can't be changed. Still, my life would have been different - better - with one of these all those years. Better late than never.

This is a good and appropriately skeptical review of Phil Illy's book about Autogynephilia/autosexualities.
I don't like the way Illy has been trashed for wearing a dress at the Genspect conference. His worst ideas should be trashed on their own merits.
I had no problem with Illy being at the conference, in his typical blue-dress outfit (in every photo and video I've seen of him he's dressed similarly). However, Matt Osborne's suggestion that Phil could start a cult makes me nervous about my sight gag du jour. I wore this because someone tweeted, "no real woman would dress like that!" and of course them's fightin' words. Oh well.

It was actually pretty good. She took most of the rest home, and I had one more bit and now I'm soaking the baking dish in soapy water.
