I'm also seeing this in high school. 10-20 percent of students' writing assignments are clearly "AI" generated. I deal with it by explaining in detail why I believe they used "AI" to do the assignment, and then I ask them if they wrote every sentence from scratch. I withhold grades until they respond. A few admit to it, a few deny it, and most never get back to me.

According to the physician, endemic means "the constant presence of a disease or infectious agent within a given geographic area or population group." Covid doesn't meet those criteria. The epidemiologist says, "The WHO has ended their public health emergency for COVID, but they still call COVID a pandemic." The virologist says its endemic but uses a different and questionable definition of the word. Verdict: It isn't over.

You're welcome. Long covid is sometimes described as "lingering symptoms" e.g. a persistent cough or tiredness, but I think it makes more sense to understand it as the chronic stage of a viral illness. As with other viruses, the chronic stage of a covid infection can come weeks, months or even years after the acute stage has ended.

Joe Fucking Biden egotistically insisted that public schools reopen within 100 days of HIS inauguration, safe or not. Schools weren't ready, they weren't safe, and yet they reopened anyway. Because of that, the person I'm married to has been sick with long covid going on two years now. So. Just so you know: This is who you have a problem with.

Bad as it is, Congress didn't tell these lies: "If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask," "You're not going to get covid if you have these vaccinations," "If you're vaccinated, you're not going to be hospitalized, you're not going to be in the ICU, and you're not going to die," and "The pandemic is over." Joe Fucking Biden told those lies. He has neither apologized nor corrected himself.
