Race condition in multi threaded inbox model, huge memory leak, garbage collector messed up, corrupted heap as well as Qt re-renderer loop. The longest bug fixing and debugging ever, maybe a world record. It's all my fault, I take all the blame. I messed up.
But it's fixed and merged into master branch. New release coming out tomorrow, I just want to double test everything.

Unfortunately they are not very transparent about it. If you get accepted, you'll receive an email that sounds like you are the greatest person walking the earth and they are happy to support you. And then when you get rejected, suddenly it's just that so many other projects, big pool, unfortunately you were not selected, some standard email. No explanation what went wrong, what could have been different, no feedback, nothing.
I am grateful they supported the project for some time. Problem is, you can never rely on their support long-term, there is practically no communication at all and you never know if they continue to support you, once the grant expires.
It was great working on FUTR full-time, and the all the ground work is almost finished. I keep adding new features and new platform support to it in my free time.

@nprofile…40is a genius! He implemented by far the best relay selection methods in all nostr clients I've seen so far.
I had to copy some ideas and incorporate into futr. Almost done with that work, little testing and should be good to go.

Nostr seems to be already decently decentralized, contrary to many critic's views. As an example, I follow 101 people as I write this, I use two relays per contact for duplication, so if would be very centralized, you'd expect me to connect to 10 relays at most. Actual relay connections: 74. That's 101 contacts spread across 74 relays with 2 relays per contact selected max.

I try to automate Windows releases through GitHub actions this evening. Once completed, I release. If problems pop up, I do manual release later this evening. Either way, v0.4 goes out today.

Next update on FUTR:
- no LMDB related issue confirmed
- found an issue in software design instead
- working on a fix
- still nicely leads into next awaited futr feature, namely custom feeds
So here we go, working on feeds which will resolve the scrolling issue as well. Not gonna issue any promises, but next week sounds reasonable to be done.

Quick update on futr dev:
- possible bottleneck in LMDB found
- probably Haskell bindings related
- old, unmaintained third party lib
- gonna try switching to something else tomorrow, let's see if this resolves it.
Sorry for delay in release, but as always, it's gonna be worth it.

Sheesh, I found it, I found it, I really found it, I think. Confirmation tomorrow, followed by immediate release. This finally makes futr REALLY fast.
- it already loads feeds now hundreds of times faster
- reduced layout recalculation, especially recognizable on slow devices
- now finally fast scroll without FFI interference???
This sentence should become a reality: FUTR is the fastest and most lightweight nostr client out there.

I just found it weird to get asked multiple times about debugging or monitoring, when in fact, there's probably nothing in this regard, that you could offer to build.
I don't have other questions I think you should have asked, maybe I'd rather know upfront, what exactly you have in mind, when asking. I felt like I have to make assumptions about the person asking.
Anyway, if you think it's helpful, I answered all questions as good as I could.

I have the feeling I'm missing something. Maybe you should say first what you have in mind. Half the questions seem to be only relay software related, but I'm not sure where you want to go with these questions. Sometimes I think you want to offer some debugging tools, but I can't imagine how that should work across multiple programming languages.
