I'm building it on Linux, but because I run everything in containers, that shouldn't be much of a problem. The architecture and configuration of the individual parts that make up the total environment should be the same.

I think it's likely that his unbelievable fuckup with Iran has taught him that winning an actual war is a bit more difficult than he thought.
He'll probably rather attack a small, helpless country like Cuba than a large, modern, well-respected nation like Canada that has the means to properly defend itself.

This shouldn't be decided between a trigger-happy minister on one side and the director of a commercial enterprise on the other.

On one hand you want your tools to be deterministic and predictable. On the other hand, people aren't deterministic either, and they are the most valuable tools 🤔
Maybe in time these agentic tools become predictable enough to be used as sysadmin's grease monkeys, but my experience so far is that I can't let it do its job without my constant vigilant supervision.

When the law doesn't mean anything anymore: Irish man with valid US work permit held in ICE detention for five months.
An Irish man has spent five months in US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention and faces deportation despite having a valid work permit and no criminal record.
...
After being held in ICE facilities near Boston and in Buffalo, New York, he was flown to a facility in El Paso, Texas, where he is sharing a cell with more than 70 men. Culleton said the detention centre was cold, damp and squalid, and there were fights over insufficient food – “like a concentration camp, absolute hell”, he told the Irish Times, which first reported the story on Monday.
I really hope that everybody who's thinking about attending any of the matches in the world cup this year take notice: THE USA IS A LAWLESS, DANGEROUS PLACE!! AVOID IT!!

My ISP could keep an eye on my traffic, so I picked one that doesn't do that. Other than that, they know nothing about me and they're not in the business of knowing everything about me. Google is.
My ISP has to respect the GDPR. Nothing like that exists in the US, and Google is already in a lawsuit for breaking that law.
One way they break it, is by sucking in school children and students, by forcing them into Google Workplace and using Chromebooks.
Google analyses everybody's e-mail, even replacing URLs in it so they they will be routed through their systems. You must know about that if you've worked there, right?
As former employee you must be aware of what Chrome is, right? It's a tracking and advertising platform, dressed as a webbrowser.
Let me repeat myself: Google is evil. Plain evil.

Both Agent Orange and Eloon have a lot of bitcoins. If the US government is joining that, the price will go up bigtime, thereby making both of these oligarchs much richer than they already are.
And then it's time to sell. The fact that the price will then go down as fast as Twitter, doesn't matter. It's not their money, it's the taxpayers'.
Simple market manipulation for personal gain, Eloon has done that before, he knows how to do it. Much easier to get away with, if you control the president who controls the judges.
